A prayer point for right now
Lord, I stand in the gap for my loved ones. According to Galatians 3:13, “Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us”. Set them free from bondage from past cult involvement, in Jesus’ name.

By the authority of Psalm 40:2, I decree that every chain of distraction from the things of God is broken, and my devotion is set free.
-
Father, Your Word says, “He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock” (Psalm 40:2). Deliver my devotion from distraction from the things of God, in Jesus’ name.
-
In Jesus’ name I resist distraction from the things of God (Psalm 40:2). I close every door I opened to it, and I receive the help You have provided.
-
Lord, I lift my hands in thanksgiving. As Psalm 40:2 says, “He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock”, I receive my deliverance from distraction from the things of God.
-
I confess with my mouth what Psalm 40:2 says: “He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock”. I am free from distraction from the things of God.
-
Father, I lift up everyone bound by distraction from the things of God today. Let Psalm 40:2 be fulfilled in their lives.

Standing on Nahum 1:13, “For now will I break his yoke from off thee, and will burst thy bonds in sunder”, I declare my devotion free from distraction from the things of God, in the name of Jesus.
-
Lord, according to Nahum 1:13, stretch out Your mighty hand and set me free from distraction from the things of God.
-
Nahum 1:13 says, “For now will I break his yoke from off thee, and will burst thy bonds in sunder”. I will not be mastered by distraction from the things of God; by Your Spirit I take one faithful step at a time.
-
Thank You, Lord, for Nahum 1:13: “For now will I break his yoke from off thee, and will burst thy bonds in sunder”. I thank You in advance for my complete freedom from distraction from the things of God.
-
My faith rests on Nahum 1:13. Therefore distraction from the things of God will not rule over my devotion.
-
Lord, as I pray for the oppressed tonight, especially those troubled by distraction from the things of God, break every chain and set them free (Nahum 1:13).
