Stewardship

Private giving,
public stewardship.

Giving is private. Stewardship is public. We protect who gave and how much, and we explain openly how what was entrusted to us is used.

Our principle

Sacred money,
sacred stewardship

People give because they believe they are supporting God's work. We keep every giver's identity and history private: no leaderboards, no public amounts, no competition.

That privacy is not secrecy. We report, at an aggregate level, what was entrusted, how it was used, what is held in reserve, and whether the accounts were independently reviewed.

Transparency is not distrust. Accountability is not an accusation. Good systems protect good leaders.

How gifts are governed

No one person
holds every key

Spiritual authority does not automatically mean financial authority, and financial authority does not mean audit authority.

Spiritual leadership

Pastoral and spiritual direction of the ministry.

Administration

Day-to-day running of the ministry and its institutions.

Finance

Accounting, budgets and payments, with approvals that no one can grant themselves.

Governance & audit

Trustees' oversight, and independent review of the accounts and controls.

Where your gift goes

Used for what
you chose

When you give online you choose a purpose. A gift to a purpose is used for that purpose.

Annual stewardship reports
The first report is being prepared

Each year's report will be published here once the accounts have been reviewed and the trustees have approved it: what was entrusted, how it was used, projects, reserves, and the reviewer's opinion.
