My faith rests on John 8:36. Therefore distraction from the things of God will not rule over my devotion.

Father, I lift up everyone bound by shame and reproach today. Let John 8:36 be fulfilled in their lives.

Lord, as I pray for the oppressed tonight, especially those troubled by shame and reproach, break every chain and set them free (Isaiah 10:27).

Lord, I stand in the gap for my loved ones. According to James 4:7, “Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you”. Set them free from shame and reproach, in Jesus’ name.
