A prayer point for right now
My faith rests on Psalm 133:1. Therefore sickness and loneliness in old age will not have the final word over my parents.

“Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh” (Genesis 2:24). Because this Word is true, I declare that suspicion and jealousy shall have no place in my home, in Jesus’ name.
-
Gracious Father, as it is written in Genesis 2:24, “Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh”, let Your Spirit heal our trust and drive out suspicion and jealousy today.
-
In the name of Jesus, I stand on Genesis 2:24: “Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh”. I refuse to let suspicion and jealousy define our story, and I speak God’s peace over our trust.
-
Father, I praise You because Genesis 2:24 is true for my family. I give You glory for restoring our trust and ending suspicion and jealousy.
-
I agree with heaven today: “Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh” (Genesis 2:24). I place our trust under God’s covenant, and suspicion and jealousy must go.
-
Lord, I stand in the gap for the families I love. According to Genesis 2:24, “Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh”. Break suspicion and jealousy and bless their trust, in Jesus’ name.
-
By the authority of Genesis 2:18, I decree that suspicion and jealousy shall be uprooted, and I receive God’s design for our trust.
-
Father, Your Word says, “It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him” (Genesis 2:18). Take away suspicion and jealousy and bless our trust, in Jesus’ name.
-
By the authority of Jesus’ name and the promise of Genesis 2:18, I stand against suspicion and jealousy and declare healing over our trust.
-
Lord, I lift my hands in thanksgiving. As Genesis 2:18 says, “It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him”, I receive Your answer concerning suspicion and jealousy.
-
I confess with my mouth what Genesis 2:18 says: “It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him”. This is my portion concerning suspicion and jealousy.
-
Father, I lift up every family facing suspicion and jealousy today. Let Genesis 2:18 be fulfilled in their homes.
